If you run ESM studies using Avicenna, keeping track of participant compliance during data collection can be a hassle. To make this easier, Robin Achterhof was inspired by Anne Bülow to develop this free, open-source tool that automatically generates a compliance report from your Avicenna data export(s) — including per-participant compliance rates, data quality checks, and visualizations, with an optional Excel export to get an overview of all participants.
The tool runs in R and takes about five minutes to set up. A built-in demo dataset lets you try it before your study starts, and instructions for first-time R users are included.
